Concerning request of Secretary of War for militia of Massachusetts to defend the sea-coast, action of Governor Strong in the matter, etc..."On the 22d of June I received a letter from Gen. Dearborn, informing me that war was declared against G. Britain, and requesting me to order forty-one companies of the detached militia into the service of the U.
